So, today is day 2. My catheder was taken out last night. WOOOO.  I have cruised on in to full liquids. Had 2 tbsp sf vanilla yogurt and 2 tbsp mashed potatoes for lunch. will have the same for dinner. Breakfast time, I will have the yogurt and 2 tbsp oat meal. yummy!
Got to take a shower at about 2. Was WONDERFUL. Sat there with nice hot water running over me. Got to put on some of my own comfy clothes, instead of that hospital gown. I'm just so much more comfortable now. Getting ready to do some more laps. My lunch tray should be here in about an hour, so I want to get some walking in before then. Have my mp3 player strapped to my wrist strap and am going to jam. :)  Poor nurses, I think they think I'm a lil strange.

Well, today is the 17th. I had my Lap-RNY yesterday morning. I'm doing pretty well so far. It's 7:30am and have only had 1 instance where I "threw up". We figured out that my morphine was making me nauseous. Soooo that had to go. They swapped it out for another pain killer and I haven't had one tummy issue since.
I just sat down from walking. Waiting on a nurse to come plug my stuff back in. Was able to do 5 laps of the floor. Would have done more, if it weren't for my cath. It was starting to get a bit irritated.
I would have updated the Indiana board, but for some reason, I can't get to it. So, I was lucky enough to find somebody on live journal to update my post on the Indiana board for me. YAY!

My night nurses are a trip. Hope they'll be back tonight. They're just tooooo funny.
May update again when I get home later this week. Toodles!

I GOT A DATE!!! I GOT A DATE!!!

June 16th, is my surgery date. I go in for my upper GI and x-ray and such on the 21st. YAY!!!!

I have been approved by the Insurance Gods, and an just waiting to hear from the surgery scheduler.  WOOOOO
Hopefully the ball keeps rolling. Would love to have a date before the Summer Semester starts, so I can inform my profs when I'll be missing classes.
