Ok people! It's good to be back. I am now officially on the losing side. I am so glad to be home and able to move about, although slowly, atleast without too much pain. I had some bad breakthrough pain at the hospital, in my neck, but I got over it within 24 hours. I think 12 was more like it. I am walking slowly and not for long distances. I get very tired and my left side starts to hurt quite a bit. I have found that with a smaller stomach a pain medication that was previously no good for me due to the fact that it didn't work...is now one that makes me loopy. OMG I thought I had kitties trying to climb up onto my tummy. LOL I am on clear liquids for another week and 2 days. Then will be moved to pureed foods and will be glad as I am bored with juice and popsicles already. I do have jello and all is sugar free. I do NOT want to test the waters. I have not felt hungry at all and that is a plus. Head hunger is not bad at all, (Thank God), I worried about that. I have had instances where I have thought....."Television should be made pay for our(obese people) medical expenses!! Have you ever noticed how many food commercials are on television? I didn't until I had this surgery. It is hard not to miss certain foods when you see them all day long on television. Well, I am going to go rest again for a while. I want to thank EVERYONE who has emailed me. It means so much to me. I will do my best to get back to all of you. Good luck to everyone. God Bless!
