College is great.  I thought it would be scary because it has been 15 year since I was in school but it's not scary at all. I'm doing very good, better than I thought. My weight loss is even better.  I'm down 62 pounds. Every day is better now that I'm thinner. It's amazing how much self confidence you gain losing weight. Anyone who is over the 40 % BMI weight should get this surgery or others like it. It is SO VERY worth it.

I am so excited.  I just checked my weight and I'm under 200 pounds.  Yep,  I weigh 197.  I couldn't be happier.  Plus I've signed up for college.  My self esteem is coming back.  :)

I just checked my measurements.  It seems like I have lost every where but my waist is the best.

Hi all,  I wanted to say that this last month was a very difficult month.  After surgery (which was a not bad at all) I stuggled with head hunger.  The worst head hunger ever.  You see I thought I wouldn't be hungry because the Dr. cuts the nerves in the tummy.  How wrong I was.  I was starving.  My tummy even growled all the time.  I wished I didn't go through with the surgery.  Today I am so glad I went through with the surgery.  I seem to be loosing very slowly though.  On the day of surgery I weighed 232 today I weigh 208 and it seems Like I am suck around 211 to 208 for 3 weeks now.  I was a bit depressed but people on the main board have given me lots of words of encouragement.  Thank you all.  I feel beautiful today and I'm not close to my goal yet.  Imagine that.  Take care all!!!

Hello everyone....I'm very emotional.  I haven't decited if I am nervous, scared or excited.  I think I'm all three.  MLS has become more real.  I think when I'm on my way to the hospital tomorrow it will feel really, real!  I have met very cool people here on this site and I love it.  I want to wish Lynda Good luck for tomorrow she is also having surgery.  You are in my prayer God Bless You!  I also want to thank my very bless friend in the whole entire world (Lisa) for being there for me in every possible way.  You are a blessing for me to me!   Thank you for taking me to the Hospital tomorrow and waiting there for me!  You truely are my Angel!  Please everyone keep me in your prayers...Thank you ALL!

I am so excited. My surgery date is less than a week away.  November 30 is the big day.  Can anyone give me advise on how to cope with the first few weeks?  I have 4 kids and I'm a bit nervous about how tired I will be after.  Does anyone know what I can do to lessen the tiredness?  I just can't wait to start this new chapter of my life.
