I'm back!!  I always wondered where the post-ops went after the honeymoon was over?  Now I know where they go, or at least where I went, to the land of complacency.  I had open WLS on 5/21/03 at a weight of 333.  I got down to my lowest post-op weight of 165 in February 2005.  I maintained my weight until the summer of 2005.  Then, in preparation for plastic surgery, scheduled for January 2006, I quit smoking.  I put on about 13 pounds and had my brachioplasty and panniculetomy when I weighed 178.  Following my plastic surgery I suffered from a bout of anxiety and depression.  I should also add that I had to have a partial hysterectomy during the summer of 2004 and left my employer of 15 years in October 2006.  All of these factors contributed to a significant weight gain and I found myself weighing 218 pounds!!!  For the longest time I simply didn't care about the regain -- I was depressed, stressed and tired all the time.  Fast forward to today and I'm ready to get the regain off and get to my original goal of 145.  I've successfully taken off 8 pounds as of this morning (210).  I'm exercising 40 minutes per day and I'm trying to stay under 1400 calories per day.  So far, so good.

Here are my goals for the following months:
     Onderland (199) - October 31, 2007
     Cruizin' Weight (175) - January 15, 2008
     Original Goal (145) - May 21, 2008 - My 5 year WLS anniversary

Soobie
333/165/210/145
Highest/Lowest/Current/Goal - ROCK ON!!
