Stall....
Sep 28, 2008
This past week I was 8 weeks post-op - 206. Can you say stall!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have not lost anything in 2 weeks!
I think it i fine because I lost 47 pounds in 2 months! I am just frustrated because I want to be under 200!
I am still not able to eat a large vareity of things. It seems like one day I can eat something and the next day I can't! Nothing really sounds good to me! I guess this is a good thing!
Another loss....

I can't believe I got on the scale this morning and I lost another 2 pounds. I guess I keep thinking it's too good to be true!!!!! I am feeling amazing. I started puree yesterday and did great! I could not believe how full I was on such a small amount! I am sooo happy!! I tried on a few things in my closet and although they are not falling off me, they are bigger and I can tell the difference.
Almost 2 weeks....
Aug 08, 2008
It has almost been 2 weeks and I am down 20 pounds (8 pre-surgery). I had an awful stall this week and got very frustrated! I even showed a gain for a few days! I seem to be back on the loosing track! I am having a difficult time getting all of the protein in. I am so over the shakes! I had some delicious tomato soup the other day and it seemed to do well. On Monday I can start puree....I never thought I would look so forward to eating mush!!!!
I'm home...
Jul 31, 2008
I am home!! I had surgery on Monday and was able to come home today. Because I was a revision, I had to stay an extra day. The hospital stay was fine...the nurses were all great! I had some pain the first few days but then it seemed better. I do no do well with pain meds so I have not been taking any. I am not hungry at all and I am not getting much in. I know this is NOT good and I am trying to get liquids down. I am so happy that everything went well and I am on my way to healthier me!
Getting Ready...
Jul 01, 2008
I am getting so ready for my surgery! I have been walking every day and really watching what I am eating. I am sticking to 3 low calorie meals a day with no snacking between. Also, I am really watching the carbs as well!
The walking is getting better and better and I actually look forward to it! I am walking between 3.5 and 5 miles a day. I am at a 14.5 minute pace but I am determined to be under 14 minutes before my surgery! I can't help but think that the better shape I am in before my surgery, the better the recovery will be.
