"I met with Dr. Schlesinger during my consultation July 3, 2002. He was very polite and informative and I felt I could trust him to do his best right away... He told me like it is... This surgery is the best thing for weight loss and you can go far with it as long as you follow the rules. He said that some people don't think they deserve a good thing to happen to them and will make something fail just so they can prove to themselves, they don't deserve better. I've never heard it put that way before but I realized he's right. I know someone in my family that it that way... She takes a step forward and just when things are going right she seems to panic and take two steps back. The only thing I didn't like about him is that he knows his stuff and what he wants to say and says it a mile a minute. So you definitely have to be alert and pay attention. I've only met him once so far and liked him, the next time we'll meet is for the actual surgery... "

"There definition of pain control and mine were definitely too very different things. But then again, they said they had given me the maximum dosage. I had a PCA pump and additional shots in the arma and was still having a hard time getting around. Can't get your walking in if you're in too much pain. Other than that issue the staff was very nice!!!"
