Lisa, I am so glad that I was able to meet you in person! It was really special, and I was so releived to see that you had one of our best Surgical ICU Nurses taking care of you! I am soooo glad your surgery went so well and you really did look great! Your husband Scott is a really nice guy and a lucky man! I hope the rest of your recovery is as smooth as silk! I will see you again, and definatly keep in touch! I was able to print Lisa's card and gave it to her with everyone's good wishes. She really does look good as a fresh post-op! She will do well!

Lisa, I was so happy to hear from your mom that everything went so well. Kayla and I kept you and Scott in our hearts and prayers. Lisa, you are and have always been a true friend and a beautiful person inside and out.I know how badly you wanted this surgery and I'm glad this could come true for you.Just know that we love you and are there for you. Can't wait for you to get home.

Lisa had surgery this morning (3/13/02). Her mom called me this afternoon and said that everything went well. Lisa absolutley hated the epidural though. She's in the ICU tonight then will be moved to a regular room tomorrow. So far so good! Way to go Lisa!! We love ya.

Hi Lisa, I am so glad that you wrote to me to tell me about you! I just pulled tomorrow's surgery schedule and there you are all set for first case! I really look forward to meeting you. Lisa, As a person that is having WLS five days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.

Hey Lisa, I am soooo excited for you!!! and very proud that you have stayed with this battle and gotten your approval... after tomorrow you will be on your journey to a healthy, happy, new you! I will be praying and looking forward to when we can get together again... maybe we can go shopping at fashion bug... the skinny side!!! I still forget I don't have to get size 28 anymore...
