I should have started this back in 2003!!
I originally had the lapband placed in January 2003. It worked wonders for me and I lost most of my weight. I was completely fine where I was.
I started to develop terrible acid reflux at night in August of 2008. They did a hiatial hernia surgery, which did nothing to help the problem. I then decided to convert to the VSG. I have gained about all of my weight back, but just had my revision on 12/29/2009. I have a feeling this will be a wonderful thing. I did great with restriction before. I look at this as a permanent lap band.....
