Paul Cirangle

"My 1st impression of Dr. Cirangle was pretty good. He took the time to sit and answer all my questions. I saw him in a satellite office that is actually a PS's office. I'd heard that he would try and convince me to have just the VG or the lap band. I had done so much research on the DS before seeing him and I knew that's what I wanted. He didn't try to sway me, however he did ask me why I prefered the DS. I told him I wanted to make sure my diabetes, sleep apnea and high cholesterol were a thing of the past. He sail that any WLS would accomplish the same as the DS. Well, I've done enough research and I know better. They definitel emphisize aftercare. Since you have to pay $7500 out of pocket to the doctor if you're part of Blue Cross, you had better seek aftercare! The $7500 covers your out of pocket expenses for 10 years post-op. This is to incourage you to seek aftercare. Dr. Cirangle addressed all the risks and then some. I would rate him as very knowledgeable in the art of WLS. Also, he does laparoscopic DS without hand assistance. He's also pretty good looking! LOLrnrnUPDATE: I had my DS on 9/19/06. Can I just tell you that Dr. Cirangle is absolutely awesome! I never needed the morphine pump in the hospital or pain meds once I came home. I have had 100% energy since I came home from the hospital. I would rate Dr. Cirangle a solid 10 out of 10. He really takes the time to sit and answer all your questions. I'm amazed. rnrnSheri"
