I thought that nothing could make me feel as bad as I did everytime I looked at a negative pregnancy test but I was wrong. When my surgeon's office called me to tell me that my surgery has to be postponed that pain came back. I have done everything on my end that I was told to do, my insurance has approved me and the date was set for this upcoming Tuesday. My family doctor however decided at the last minute that she has concerns with one of my blood test and wants further testing done before I can move forward with my surgery.
She is the most irritating woman on earth. She feels like because of my age I should be doing lapband even though I have expressed to her that RYN is what I want to do. I feel like because I am not chosing the surgery she would like me to that she is throwing up unneccessary blockers. Over the last week both Dr.Blackstone (surgeon) and myself have been trying to get her to call back and clear up the blood work issue. She decided to finally respond after Dr.Blackstone had her paged after hours on Friday. She told Dr.Blackstone that she wants the surgery delayed until my blood work is reviewed by an ocologist.
I am so upset and angry. I have set up everything and did everything I was told to do but still have to wait to begin my healthier life. I am scheduled with both my surgeon and the ocologist on MOnday so hopefully my surgery will be the following week.
