"I have an appointment this month (April 2003) with Dr. Cahill and will post afterwards. 5/5/03 - I met with Dr. Cahill on April 16th. He was very caring and did not "rush" me. We talked in depth about the surgery and what I could expect. Because I will be -- for the most part -- home alone after surgery, we talked about that as well and how the support group will be beneficial in that aspect. He thinks he can do the laparascopic surgery for the gastric bypass, but explained that if there are complications, it could revert to an "open." That's cool with me. "
