"I am impressed with the experience, technology and medical staff at Brigham & Women's, however, during my particular stay the nursing staff seemed short-handed and many a time I sat waiting for hours for someone to come see to my needs. They were always more than helpful, when they were available. One nurse in particular, Noreen McNally (I think) was wonderful - she was my weekend nurse and she was greatly short-staffed, but did her best to see that I had everything I needed!"
"January, 2002: Dr. Robinson is a patient person. He let me have as much time as I needed to ask as many questions as possible, answering each one. He was informative about the procedures he performs, and the pro's and con's of this surgery.
March, 2002: I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to see Dr. Robinson before I went in for surgery. Last thing I remember before I went to sleep was the nurses talking to me, reassuring me. I did see Dr. Robinson however, on my second day in the hospital when he came to check up on me.
April, 2002: I had my first follow-up with Dr. Robinson on the 8th. His staff are amazing - I met first with one of his PA's and she removed my staples. I had a brief visit with Dr. Robinson, however he was very reassuring and positive about my surgical results.
I believe he is a knowledgable, experienced surgeon who cares for his patients, and has a wonderful after-care program!"
"Natalie is a wonderful source of information. She answered all my questions, made helpful suggestions and seemed very enthusiastic about her job. She also visits this site regularly, which I thought was fantastic! I can't wait to go back to see her and show her how well I've been doing so far!"
