Hello! My name is Stacy, 31 years old, and I am currently going through my pre-op doc appts. I have been to the pulmonologist twice, discovered I have sleep apnea pretty bad. :( I have to go for another sleep test with the mask Saturday, June 21. I am going to be attending my first support group on Thursday, June 19. I can't wait to meet other people in my situation and people that have had the surgery done already. I have had the stress test (omg never again LOL), I go for an echocardiogram in June 17. I have also seen the psych and the nutritionist. I have 2 other appts with the nutritionist. 
I know that this process can be draining and not easy but I realize at 5'9" & 460 pounds I cannot take it anymore. I have high BP, edema in my legs among other problems. Walking is such a chore. I used to love to walk!! 
Hopefully I will meet a lot of you at the support groups.
