I am 35 years old and I have been married to my husband two times and we have been together a total of 14 years. I have two children, a boy and a girl. I have been overweight almost my whole life. As long as I can remember, I have been struggling with this problem. I started out this journey at 228, the highest I have ever weighed in my life. Today is 11-28-06 and I weigh 136. I have lost a total of 92 pounds as of today. My goal is between 120-125 pounds. I have between 11-16 pounds to go. I am almost 13 months out and I am not giving up. I have tried everything in the world to lose this weight. It just seems that it keeps going up and not down. I chose to do this surgery because I want to be healthy and to feel good about myself. The weight makes you tired and you look older than you really are. I know that I have found the perfect doctor, Dr. Timothy Wheeler. He is the best and really cares about me and my problems. He has been very supportive to me and when I was having problems at first, he was there. I can call him at anytime if I have any problems. If you ask me, "would you do this again?" I would say,?HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has been the best thing that has happened to me in terms of how I feel about myself and my whole outlook on life. I know that if I don't lose another pound, I have accomplished a lot and should be very proud of myself. You could say that I am goal oriented and I have it in my mind that I will not give up until I reach my goal. But I know in my heart that it will happen for me.
