Stephanie, I was told the same thing (30 days wait) by my surgeon's office and I had a written approval in my hot chubby hands within a few days. Hopefully you will be as nicely surprised as I was. Best of luck!

Your page looks so cute, I LOVE IT!!! I wish I weren't so computer illiterate or I would pretty mine up too. Good luck with the insurance fight...mine gave me a bit of a hassle. I called them every other day and started reminding them that until I was approved I felt the need to call since this surfery is sooo important to me. They started moving my paperwork along a bit faster so I would leave them alone!! Not exactly polite but I think that this surgery is important enough to put up a fight..

Stephanie, don't give up on us so quickly!!! I have posted many questions and comments and have received NO feedback at all too!! Repost your question. Maybe no one that read it had an answer for you at that time. It's not that we don't care, sometimes we just do not have an answer for you at that moment. If you keep on trying, someone with the answer you need will be reading and will respond!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!

Dear Stephanie, I feel some of the same thoughts as you do about "Am I making the right decision". It is hard to know if it is going to turn out to be wonderful 10-30 years from now, but it all sounds like it has been modified and updated and will prove to stay that way. I asked my surgeon different questions about life after WLS and such and he managed to put my fears to rest. In fact he even said he can see no reason that I wouldnt live to be 90-95 years old after WLS. He said I should be healthier than I would be if I continue to saty overweight. I think we just worry a lot because it is human nature and it is hard to beleive that we can rearrange what God has already done for us and that it will be OK, but I have prayed my heart out that if it is not His will that He would please shut the door to it, and just the opposite has happened. things have went through so smoothly it makes my head spin. I am down to 2 more weeks and I will be in the O.R. I hope like heck it is the best decision but I trust in prayer and I beleive that God will be with us no matter what. Good luck on your journey and know that I have you in my prayers and I would love it if you would add me to yours. Please let me know how you are doing along the way! Hugs....

Hang in there. Don't give up. It seems like someone somewhere on here always has an answer. Pray for more patience. He listens.

Hi Stephanie, Don't give up on us yet here at Obesityhelp.com, I've been on this site for many months now, and sometimes my new friends don't reply to my messages. Almost 100,000 members on here and soo many posting, especially when we are new to the message board we sometimes get overlooked. Prayers and hugs
