I am a 28 year old man, when I first saw the surgeon, I was 644 Lbs. I still worked as a truck driver. I was finally ready for a change in my life and decided to seek Weight loss surgery. After looking at doctors for a year and a half, I picked one and went through with it.
May 23, '05 I should have written here more often, but O well, here I am now. After surgery, I went through a few complications, My gaul bladder went bad, and I didn't eat anything or drink anything for the first 3 months. I went back in the hospital for malnutrition and discovered my gaul bladder needed removed. So they went back in the same incision as they made for the WLS. They did it that way to check out the bypass and make sure everything is OK, which it was fine. After that, My road to healing really begun. As of today, I have lost around 210 lbs, and I'm
feeling GREAT! I am starting to get my life back. I can do things I haven't done in over 12 years or more. I have a list of things I want to check off as I can do them now. I will, and I mean WILL, get down to a goal weight of 175 or so. I am sooo looking foreward to getting down there. I know there are those of you who don't believe me when I say what my loss is so far, but get over it. Just check out the pics. I want to thank everyone who has been there to encourage me. Well, that's all for now. I'm not much of a writer.
November 25, 2005...Well, I'm still alive, going down this WLS Road...It's been a ride, let me tell ya, but it has been worth it all. I am now down about 329 lbs, putting me at 315. What a incrediable difference this has made in my life. I am so greatful for the surgery, I am not just surviving, I am living again. Thanks to this website, I have met the most wonderful person, My soon to be wife, Tina, better know as KK@goal. I know some people don't understand us, but that is because they have their nose stuck in places that it don't belong. Those who have supported us, and you know who you are, thanks a million. But anyway, I have fallen from a size 74 pants, to a size 48, from a size 7-8x shirt to a size 2x shirt now, though I am still too stuborn to buy new ones yet, I am still running around in 3x shirts. LOLOL. Cloths are expensive. Hell, Tina bought me a jacket about a month ago, and it's getting too big already. Just to update, We will be getting married the first of the year...CONGRATS to us.... My journey is just about to come up on it's one year annivesary, that day I will celebrate like it was my birthday, cause it is the day I started to get my life back, and on July 2nd, I started to live, in Oak Grove, KY, that is where I met Tina. We are so happy together, I wish more people could find the happiness and fulfilment that we have, even through the bad times, as well as the good times, we are! She is the love of my life and she means the world to me. So those of you who are against us, KISS OUR ASS'S! And you know who you are from NY, FL, NJ...To everyone else, thanks for the support and I'll try to update sooner this time and post some new pics on pictrail. Bye bye
