"8/5/02 Dr. Nakeeb was very straight forward in his meeting with me. He was very concerned about the possible cost I could incur with any complications that arose out of surgery. ( I am a self pay patient) After he was assured that I understood the risks, he agreed that I was a good candidate for the laproscopic RNY. Which left me very happy. He really stressed all the risks but was also encouraging. They have a comprehensive aftercare program that lasts at least five years, which I found to be very comforting. They have a nutritionist that will work with you all the way through also. I will give further updates as I see Dr. Nakeeb for actual surgery.
