Payla, Same thing happened to me. I had to keep a dressing on it for a few weeks. Now, it has healed beautifully! Best wishes!

how dreadful for you that your insision opened up, unfortuently it happens all the time! my mother had abdomain l surgery 4 months agi hers is still open and driaing and boeeding. bt it is better for it to be open and draiing then closed and let infection get behind it. keep it dry and clean if it gets a lot worse go back to the doctor, some epople have to pack it with gause and packing, leabing a pice hanging out to allow it to drain! good luck!!!

I saw Paula yesterday at the hospital. She is doing well with only complaint being that she can just close her eyes at any time and go to sleep. Paula wanted to pass on her many thanks to the numerous supporters who have e-mailed her and encouraged her through her wls journey. He expects to be home in the next few days and back up on the website in the next few weeks.
