"I had my first appointment today, May 7, 2001 with Dr. Shina. I thought he was very informative and very considerate. I was thrilled to get this thing started. I cannot wait until I hear something from the insurance. I feel like when the surgery happens I will be in very good hands. From what I have heard and read, he is very thorough in doing everything that he possibly can to make this a safe venture for his patients. The office staff has been wonderful. I spent several days calling back and forth about getting my referral from my family Dr. and when I was leaving today, Glenna said "I will miss your phone calls" I said don't worry they will start back in about 30 days. I think he stressed the seriousness of the surgery and the risks in detail. It seems odd to rate a Dr. he is not in the olympics, but I do feel like with God and Dr. Shina, all bases are covered. "
