Susan, thank you so much for typing in all of your story so far. I'm pre-op with Dr. Garth Davis right now, trying to get all of my insurance paperwork in. It is wonderful to hear how well he treated you. It's also reassuring to know what to expect from him from the pre-op meeting the week before surgery through surgery itself & follow-up. Congratulations on your decision to make a positive change in your life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you good luck, good health and a speedy recovery. I had lap RNY on Febr. 8. I had no real pain and I went back to work early because I felt so good. I hope your experience is as positive!

Hi Susan!!! :) Great profile page. So sorry to hear that your husband has Huntington's Disease; that has got to be so hard on you and him. Bless your sweet wonderful loving heart for being his caretaker; and working full time! Wow! You deserve this much better life you will be getting. :) Congratulations on your second birthday coming up SOON! :) This can be a time of feeling like you are on an emotional roller coaster, but rest assured this is all normal and you will do great! :) We are all here for you! :) The post op time doesn't last forever and before you know it, you are done with that too! :) GOOD LUCK!
