"Dr Juarez gave a really informative and professional seminar, which you are required to attend. I appreciated his very professional demeanor (much different from the 1st surgeon i went to see, Dr Simpson...) Dr Juarez is a man of little words, but if you have questions - you need to ASK him! He will take the time to answer. His RN who takes care of post-op bansters (Andrea) is very helpful. My only complaint is with Maria, the surgery scheduler. I called many many times and she never returns phone calls. I almost didn't show up for my surgery because she wouldn't return my calls and give me a vital piece of info. She acted very unprofessionally, and left me with a very bad pre-op impression.rnrnAndrea now has organized post-op support groups for JUST bandsters, instead of us joining in with the bypass patients. You can tell she has spent a great amount of time learning all about the after-effects of the band.rnrnDr Juarez was great, and Banner Good Sam was TOP NOTCH!"
