Lamar L. Snow (COE)

"surgery date: 3/03 - - Dr. Snow and his staff were very professional and helpful to me during this process. I thought I was aware of all the risks of the surgery prior to having it done, but I have later found that there were many more risks and \"side-effects\" from the surgery then I knew about. I do not regret by any means having had the surgery, but I have had quite a few problems as a result of the surgery. (ulcerations, anemia, osteoporosis ((at age 34!!)), screwy sleep patterns, etc).rnrnupdate: 8/06 - - Just checking in to take a look at \"me\" once again. The scale places me at 150 lbs, and I've been very concerned about the weight I've gained. With the anemia and osteoporosis issues I was facing *luckily bone gain regrow at my age*, I began eating more often and foods with high iron, protein, calcium contents if possible. I'm still not eating fries, burgers, chinese, pasta - - CAN'T digest those things at all! My diet is still 1 tuna sandwich with crusts cut off, 10 potato chips; 2 cups of Cookie Crisp with no milk (still cannot tolerate milk); a little fruit, crackers, slice of cheese, 4-5 bites of vegetables. THAT'S IT! That is completely all I can eat in a day. Oh, and I ONLY drink water.....no tea, sodas, nada. I've gained 30 pounds since 11/05, and I'm gonna have to get back on the wagon with exercise I think. This places my BMI at around 29 according to my scale; it's not bad, I know - - just scary to see my weight increase. I won't go crazy over this, but I'm concerned. rn"
