I know it has been a while since I updated this site. I think I am doing pretty good except for the fact that I am losing some of my hair. That worries me. Ad of today I am down 60 lbs. Couldn't be happier. I have gained so much energy back that I havent had for the longest time. For the most part life is really good.

I weight myself and I had lost 5 more pounds. I dont know why i felt dissapointed. I was hoping to lose more.

ON MONDAY NIGHT I WAS SCARED OF A TREMENDOUS PAIN I HAD ON MY LOWER BACK. I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS CONNECTED TO MY SURGERY. MY HUSBAND RUSHED ME TO THE HOSPITAL. IT TURNED OUT TO BE 3 KIDNEY STONES. NOW I HAVE TO DEAL WITH PASSING THEM WHICH SUCKS.
First follow up appointment

Well I had my first follow up appointment with Dr. Moen. I have lost 17 pounds. I am so happy.
This was a very rough week recouperating from the surgery. I did not expect this. However, I am glad I over came this part and now I am feeling so much better.

Today is Memorial Day! I have 15 days to go before my surgery. This day could not arrive any sooner. I am tired of having no energy because of my weight. Wish me luck!

I am in state of shock. I only 6 days my insurance company has approved my surgery. I need to call the doctor's office today to schedule the surgery! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

On Monday 4/28/08 when I got home from work I had a letter waiting from me from Aetna stating that in order for them to process my claim that they needed additional information which I knew my surgery had. I was so upset. I did not understand why my surgeon did not submit everything when he submitted the claim for pre-authorization. I called Dr. Moen's office first thing in the a.m. to find out what was going on and to tell them about the letter I had received. To my surprise they had already received the same letter and all the documentation the insurance company needed was faxed to them on Friday. I was very pleased to hear this. Now I just need to keep waiting. The wait is killing me.

So I went to see Dr. M for my final evaluation. He said that everything looked good and that they were going to submit everything to the insurance company for approval. I have so many mixed emotions inside. I am so excited, yet a little scared I must say.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2008 I went to meet with my nutritionist thinking I still had another month left of supervised nutritionist. To my surprised I found out that the first time I met with her that actually counted as my first appointment meaning this was my last Nutritionist Appointment. I had all sorts of emotions going through my heard...Excited, Scared, Anxious, etc. Anyways, I am seeing Dr. Moeinolmolki on Thursday, 4/24 for my final appointment and I was told that at that point they would submit everything to the insurance carrier. To everyone who reads this, please keep me in your prayers. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed! I will keep you updated.
