Hi, I haven't been in here in a couple of months.  I have gotten down to 294 now with a total of 64 pounds lost, just can't believe it.  I have got to do more exercise though, just make it hurt my back to do them still.  I do hope this will be a lot better soon.  I am comimg off of most of my medicine also.  bye for now. take care, sharon

Hi, haven't been on hear for a while, just went for my 2 month follow up, I have lost a total of 44.5 pounds and looking forward to losing more.  well see you all later, have to go in for a follow up in October, 5.  bye for now.  sharon

Hi, had my follow up visit with Dr. Hobson today, I am down 28 pounds from the first time I came to see him on the 23rd of March.  I am doing just great. Got to go back in 6 weeks and hope I am even doing better.  Would love to hear from some of you that are doing good or not, to get some ideas of what works best.  hope to hear from you soon.  sharon

I am 2 weeks out now and 20Lb. down, that is just wonderfull,  I am feeling much better that then, still having some paid in my abdomen from the surgery tho.  I am getting anxious to get farther on,  but I can't puch the progress myself.  I would like to here from others, I am so tired of the protien shakes, I am going in my third week today.  I am not walking as much as I should, I have bachackes sometimes so bad I can't stand for long at a time, but I will continue to do my best.  Bye for now. Hi, had my surgery on the 8th,  I am so sore and so is my throat, and so much gas,  I hope it all works out pretty soon.  I am not at all hungry and can hardly get everything down.  well, God will take care of it all.  take care and I will get back soon. 

Hi, everyone, went for my pre-registration and pre-op tues. and have lost 5lb. got a hug.  got to go for egd on monday and then thursday, surgery.  look out folks her I come.  sharon

Had my first consult today, went great, got all information for first two weeks before surgery,  be back soon. bye

Well my first dr. visit with my initial consult is on the 23rd, next week on tuesday, can't wait to get started changing my life and health for the better, but only God that let it happen, and so far it is in the works thanks to him.  I give him all the glory and praise.  hope everyone is doing well, I will get to talk to you all soon, hope to meet some new friends here soon.  bye for now.  sharon

Hi, I have updated plans now, I am not going to Brunswick, GA. to have my surgery, I am going to Atlanta, GA..  to Peachtree Bariatric and Surgery, with Dr. Duncan,  My surgery date is April 8, 2010, and I can't wait.

Hi, I am just signed up here,  just about to start working on getting WLS,  Dr. Henderson, in Brunswick, GA.  I have printed the paperwork and am filling it out now,  I don't really know how to put down all of my dieting attemps throughout the years of my life,  I started on a Drs. diet of diet pills when I was about 12 years old,  every year after that, I dieted and dieted and still gained what I had lost, if any and even more,  I get worse every year,  Pills,  Shakes,  willpower, anything I tried didn't work.  I am 53 years old now, I am diabetic, hight bloodpressure, gout, high trigl., and high cholesterol,  even have gotten kidney trouble from it, kidney function is down to 24% right now.  I would love to know how some of you put in writing about your dieting battles in your paperwork.  I need all the help I can get, because I want to have a good life, I never have been under 171 pounds and only for a short time then.  I am at 364lb. right now.  Well I better go for now, hope to hear from someone and hope every one gets what they want out of it all.  bye.
