Tomorrow is the BIG DAY

My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 11/1/11) at noon. I'm having the Vertical Sleeve and I'm pretty nervous. My date was moved up 2 days so I'm probably a bit more nervous than I should be. My doctor says I'm a great candidate because I don't have any health issues - other than being overweight - and I've never had surgery before. I'm sure the fact that I've never had surgery before is what is causing my jitters. Dr. Marquez is amazing and I have full faith and trust in her.
I wonder what my new life is going to be like. I can't imagine it. I've been overweight my entire adult life. Though I'm very excited and ready for this step, I'm so curious as to what this change is going to mean for me. I wonder how I will look and feel. I can't wait to go rollerskating. It might seem odd, but there are things that you miss out on when you are overweight. I miss being active.
T - 26 hours until my new adventure begins. I'm ready for it!
