Hello Tammy, This is your "dear friend, Mary". I am delighted that your decision to have WLS is a direct result of you watching me regain my health and self-esteem. Today is the second day of your new life as you successfully got through surgery yesterday. I prayed for you (as did Steve and Bailey). This may sound strange, but I worried more than I let on to you. If anything had happened, I'd feel terribly responsible. It is a risky procedure (as is any surgery) and I'm so glad you are fine today. You are very special to me and as I've told you for months, call anytime - day or night. I'm always here for you as you continue this journey. Looking forward to sharing a meal with you soon when we're out to dinner with the "gang". I love you sweetie and I'm so proud of your courage!!!

Congratulations on your decision to make a positive change in your life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you good luck, good health and a speedy recovery. I had lap RNY on Febr. 8. I had no real pain and I am going back to work early because I feel so good. I hope your experience is as positive!
