I am almost 2 years out of my surgery.  I don't regret it one bit.  I am very happy to say I have maintained my current weight for over a year now.  I even stood on the scale tonight and found I am down 7 more lbs...132!  Only 8 lbs away from where I was when I got pregnant with my first child....OMG!  Home life...stinks...maybe the stress of working 75 hours per week, a lousy marriage, and two teenage kids is begining to take its toll.  Well hopefully 2007 will bring about some positive changes.
