1/3/08-He everyone! Well I am a 37 year old Psych nurse. I have a great boyfriend and two beautiful daughters.
I have struggled with my weight since my first pregnancy. Ive done so many diets I've lost count! Not only have i been on so many diets i have also done several more then once!!! I like so many others can lose the weight but always gain it back!! Current height 5 ft 4 inch and 274 lbs!!! its crazy that I have allowed this.
I have always been attracted to the bariatric surgery, however could never come closer then ordering the paperwork for it. When learning about the lap band, i just new this was surgery for me!!
I have a date to meet the surgeon for consult next week and hope to have the surgery the last week Jan or First week Feb! Im very excited, nervous and scared. Ive never had surgery before and GOSH i hope this isn't going to be another....oh that didn't work for me decision!
1/14/08- BRING ON THE BYPASS!!! Well I've had a huge change of heart! after meeting with the surgeon and hearing his faith in the bypass-IVE CHANGED my mind about the band!!! I just want PERMANENT weight loss and i want to lose it all!! I feel the band would have gotten me most of the way there, however...I want to REACH my goal way, not partially!
