Hi everyone!
I have been overweight my entire life. The last three years, my weight has steadily been climbing even though I have been trying to watch what I eat and excercise regularly. I was involved in an accident in December which has left me unable to excercise the way I had been. Since the accident, I have gained and gained and gained!
I look forward to being able to play with my son, and not be out of breath after a few minutes! Taking my dogs for long walks in the park near my house, and just having an better outlook on life and myself.
I am going to the Barix Clinic in Langhorne and Dr. Medvetz will be my surgeon. I really liked her alot and she was very patient and took her time making sure my boyfriend and I understood the different surgeries and helped me decide which one was best for me.
I have completed my sleep study - no sleep apnea!! and am now waiting for my psych eval, which is next week. I already have pre-approval from my insurance company and just need to get cleared by the psych for approval!
