"I FINALLY met with Dr. Ikramuddin after 10 months of waiting...but let me tell you, SO WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew I wanted him back in January, and when I met him for the first time, I knew I had picked the right surgeon! So nice, so sweet, so personable. There wasn't a whole lot of time to speak with him, as he was VERY busy, but the time we had together, was well spent and he and I agree on what proceedure to go with! (Lap RNY) SO, the consult was finished, and now I just have to wait for insurance to say yay or nay! I should know by next week if I am going to be able to have surgery! Keeping my fingers crossed that I get to have surgery with the best surgeon in the state!"
