8-7: Meeting with nutritionist, etc. all went well. I have 8 days and learned a ton about things I still have to get done. I feel more directed and eager and am starting to get excited.- 412 pounds
8-10: Finished all pre-op testing and it went fine. Next step is Saturday pre-admit.
8-12: All pre-admit and bloodwork is done and I have started liquids only. Day 1 was not so bad. Looking forward to Tuesday.
8-20: Well, I am home. The surgery started 6 hours late, and I was in a lot of discomfort when I came to. The next night I started bleeding profusely during bowel movments. Turns out staple went where it shouldn't have and I had a procedure where they went through my mouth and it looks like it is fixed. I am feeling better the more fluid I drink. Follow-up is Thursday.
8-23: Holy Shit....I had my first follow up, and I weighed 386 pounds. Down -26 pounds. Feeling great. Doctor said protein of 126 was probably unreachable, so try 80-90.
8-29: 376 pounds. Feeling pretty good. Moving to pureed foods.
9-4: 370 pounds. I have stopped taking my blood pressure meds.
9-5: 368. My doctor is making me take my blook pressure meds every other day. Feels better.
9-8: Have actually gained a pound since Monday. I think this is my first plateau.
9-12: I continue to be in this plateu, varying between 367 and 369 all week.
9-18: After nearly two weeks without losing, I have started again, hitting the 50 pound mark this morning. 362
