can't believe I haven't posted in over a year, but life gets so busy. I added my picture, this is me at 285lbs. I havent lost any weight in almost 18 mths, and i may have an internal hernia. So Dr. Murr is having me go back to the basic RNY diet starting now.

heading to the hospital for the stat catscans we will see how it goes.

It's been almost a year, i've lost 125lbs with 70 more togo before I have plastics.

it has been a hard year and just now am i seeing that i look smaller. I went through me closet this weekend and ended up throwing 90% of things away.

its been hard on my relationship as well. I love him but he is insurace about being the man he feels i deserve. awell... i do the best i can to make him see i love him. but only time will tell.

pray for me i have 70lbs to lose and its a battle now.

i don't know what I weight, but thats because i'm scared of the scale!. Yes, i have weight scale phobia. *sighs* i'll join a group for it later.

okay, cept pain on the right side under my ribs i have done alright the last 8 weeks,

but omg the pain, it hurt so bad, my PCP put me to catscan, mri and then i broke down and called the surgeon.

guess what? after 6 weeks of that i bent over friday and felt something pop. after the wave of pain went away i stopped hurting! damn, i fixed my self!  it was probably a liquid cyst.

But for my wow, i've went from a 32 in pants to a 22, from a 30 in tops to a 22-20. and my foot went from 11 back to 9.5. weight seems to be staying put but man the inches are going bye bye.

whoohoo!

ohhh boy! it's time to weight myself. It's been 2 weeks and i am dying to know if i've lost anymore.

Tomorrow morning it's the Publix scale and me.  Weeeeee

I went in today for my POst Op with Dr. Murr.

I weight 286. THATS down from 343lbs!!

OMG i've lost  57lbs...   ( passes out)

BTW... Dr. Murr said i'm doing great. I love my doctor!

  I have a Date, it is Jan. 2nd 2007.

I went to TGH for my pre-op yesterday and it went wonderful.  the only downer was the ABG test.  That crap hurt!

okies... i'm working this weekend. Then flying to LA on Wed the 26th, driving bac to FL with my boyfriend as we are moving him down here.

Have 1 day to pre-pare for surgery then its operation time. Whew.. talk about being busy!

  OMG!! i got approved. oh this is great, i can't believe it. I find out Monday when my date is. I hope it's the first part of Jan.

I have goals people! i want to fit into my sexy velvet dress for my 33rd birthday in July!

well. I went and met with Dr. Murr today he was very nice to me. I am so excited i can barely stand it!.

All my paperwork is going over to the Insurance Com. on Monday of next week and then it's nothing but pins and needles until i hear something.

I am soooo excited! well let me start at the begining of this year.

I lost my mom in april. She died at 4'8 and 500lbs. She died because her weight killed her.  I promised myself... this was not going to be how i am going down!

I started a weight loss clinic that is ran by a M.D. and oooo in 8 months...i lost a whooping 18lbs babe!  AND YES.... i did everything i was told to and no i didn't cheat.

DID IT HELP... not really. however, I now have UHC for my insurance and i called them and asked if they covered a RNY and they said YES!  Alright now, we are getting somewhere. I double checked all the requirements my insurance wants and i have them all. FOR ONCE  whooohooo....  

I went to Tampa General Hospital for the seminar, and group meeting. The next week i was at Spectra Healthcare seeing the doctors. I PASSED through them on my first try... The main doc was like way to go this doesn't normally happen like this. I was and am so excited by that. I found a PCP that supports Pre and Post GB pts, and he totally is 100% behind me doing this and is sending the letter to Dr. Murr's office which i am waiting to see next.

I keep telling myself the next appt is the big one. The one where everything is sent to Insurance, LORD ABOVE i pray... i pray so hard this happens. My biggest wish is to end this year with a new birthdate.. Ya know what i mean?

Soooo. Tomorrow i call Tampa and get my appt date with Dr. Murr and see what happens then..

sighs...  off to watch Jackies story on Discovery Health.
