"I rated the restfull and quietness only average, but that was ONLY because they make it clear that you are not there to rest. You are there for your WLS and then to recover. You have to walk at least every 4 hours, breathing treatments and liquid intake. You are not going to get any rest. But you are made aware of this way before you ever even check into the hospital. Up front and honest from day 1."

"Dr. Stelmak was great. I was an hour and 45 minutes late due to being lost and he still saw me and spent about 1 1/2 hours talking to me. He was very impressed with how much I already knew about him and the procedure(thanks www.obesityhelp.com memebers and veterens) My best friend went with me to the consultation who's a nurse and also a 3 years post-op of WSL. So she asked the medical stuff and I asked the superficial stuff. I think it's wonderful that Dr. Stelmack has a great bedside manner. But it is truely more important for me that he is surgically competent and unfortunately that's something I won't know until the surgery is over. So we'll see. "
