Still Alive and Kicking
Apr 28, 2009
I'm still alive and kicking, I've finally gotten weight back up and it's holding at 115. With the passing of my brother in Feb. I've changed a lot about myself..
One thing I've not done in the past that I'd like to do now, is thank you guys for telling me what's what when I really needed to be told the hard truth. I'm not online a lot these days due to still being layed off from my job and I've not been able to get to my support group in Spartanburg and I miss those ladies....
My eatting disorder is almost under control, and I'm learning to deal with my body image issues, I will be starting college May finally after putting it off and trying to get past my age of 42 and going back to school, but I'm going for RN hopefully I can make my major in Oncology or Bariatrics...
Well that's all I know that's changed so far except I got my tat to honor my brother Troy, he would have been 44 April.
So how is everyone come out Greenville group I know you're hanging around somewhere...
Miss you all
Good luck and hope everyone's journeys takes them to the highs they want and great success in the end...

Rainbow bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Don't Weep for Me
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room,
I am the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
I AM FREE!!!!!!

What demons you ask? well I do the not eatting and the puking demons scared of regain... Even though I was cleared for surgery on my Psyc eval, I think to myself did I cheat to just get cleared? I had this problem years ago where I would go a full month without eatting and just drink cokes but now I'm not as bad, I miss meals and I don't drink coke but tea made with splenda... I puke after EVER meal and I make myself do it .... I know I'm going to fail at this and that's what makes me so scared...
I put alot of info on my profile about myself before and took it down cause of the way someone treated me telling me I should not post anything negative on OH for the new people to see ... Well all I can say is F%CK them.... this is my profile and my journey and things can and sometimes do happen...
If I offend anyone with my post to the board or my profile, I'm sorry but I don't believe in sugar coating anything... Nor will I... If you ask for an honest answer then I will give it...
To those that are starting out, I offer you this advice and you can take it or leave it but I wished I had followed through with it myself...
** Follow your Doctor's guidelines, he has them for a reason... Use your honeymoon wisely it doesn't last forever... If you see a problem starting as in eatting, not eatting, purging or laxative issues then PLEASE seek out some type of help... Use your support group, let those that have been there before you, know that you need them ... AND FIRST FORMOST PLEASE PLEASE, DON'T ASK FOR MEDICAL ADVICE FROM A MESSAGE BOARD ASK YOUR DOCTOR...**
I think I've covered all of the advice I can offer...
Till another day, I'm outta heres
Stephie
7th year Wedding Anniversary !!!!!!!!!!
Aug 17, 2007
7 years ago today we said our vows infront of a judge... We came out of the courthouse, and our car wouldn't even start *lol* ...
In those 7 years it's been pure hell for both of us, due to my health that went down hill and then him having a heart attack.. This is my 3rd marriage and his 1st... We have stuck by each other no matter what... It's not been an easy road and yes we've been from hand to mouth throughout this time...
I want to say I love him MORE today than I did the day we got married...
I wanted to be able to renew my vows today, but with the shape money is in we can't... I wanted to buy him something special today to let him know how much my love for him means to me... but I can't...
BUT !!!
I can tell him, that I love him and I'm so glad that I've found him and that he means more than the world to me... Is our life perfect? No it's not perfect but to be honest... Life isn't always rainbows...
We have our ups (not many of them due to money) and downs... We have our own understandings of each other, and we don't put demands on one another either...
All I want to say now is I LOVE YOU David !!!!!!!
Love Always
Me
