Hi Tess, It's nice to find someone more my age on the message board! I am going to be 52 in 4 weeks and I go for my psych eval and interview with the dietician in 3 days....so that's where I am in my journey. Hopefully I will get a date soon. And you will get your date this week!! I hope you won't have to wait too long....the waiting kills you. Best of luck on surgery day and if you ever need to just babble and wine, I am here for you. BIG HUG! Carol Percel

Hello Tess~“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” William Jennings Bryan. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things that you want to do. The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way! May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you!

Hey AMOS Family, PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT AND PRAYERS FOR TESS. She had her consult last Thursday and should know about a surgery date this week. Please go to her surgery page and send her your prayers and thoughts. I posted a similar request on Friday and only one person responded. Tess doesn't post often, but I know you would all want to show her the same support that you would want for yourself. Blessings to you Tess. Friday night was great. Love ya, Robin

Angel flying in and giving a report ~~ Tess had her consult with Dr. Mun today and everything went really well. She should know about approval in a week and then get a surgery date at that time. Please visit her surgery page and show her your support and AMOS generosity. The doctor doesn't think there will be any problem with the insurance approval, but please send up your prayers for her journey. She is a super lady and needs your support. Blessings to you Tess. I'm so excited for you right now!!!! You Rock! Love ya, Robin

Hi Tess, I saw your post and wanted to say hi. I live in Salem, MA and am looking at three programs: BID, BWH, and Salem Hospital. Currently, I'm leaning toward BWH and Salem, but am interested in having the transcected procedure and so am checking out the BID. Do you know if they do the transcected procedure?
I'm sorry your friends are not supportive. I must say that I am grateful that all of mine are, at least in supporting my decision. If you need an angel, I would be glad to be yours.

Have you met with the surgeon yet? I'm curious how long you've been in the process with BID. With Salem I'm told I could have my surgery by March, and I think the same with BWH. Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this journey. May God bless you and keep you safe. Take care, Robin
