I had my first consultation on November 17th. I was extremely pleased with the facility, the staff and most importantly-the surgeon. I have also started the process of seeking approval from my insurance carrier. If anyone has experience with Aetna, please share. I am hoping to have the lap band procedure no later than May but that may be beyond my control.
