Hi Everyone, I am back! I had my surgery on October 1st at UCLA in Santa Monica. Everything went smoothly. My surgeon, the residents and nurses were all wonderful. I was discharged on 10/3 and went to stay with my parents for a week for some TLC and now am finally home. I feel great, I am glad I chose the Lap RNY! The hardest part of the whole ordeal so far was the bowel prep. The antibiotics made me very ill and I spent the night before surgery vomiting! It was a blessing to wake up from surgery feeling better than when I went in. Thank you to everyone who signed my surgery page and who encouraged me and prayed for me, I know it made all the difference. You guys are the best!

Wishing you well on your upcoming surgery and for a speedy recovery. Soon we will all be on the loosing side. Oct. 3 is my date to start loosing. Good luck and may you feel so much better once the weight is GONE forever!!!
