I am about two weeks post out and I am on this full liqiud diet. I hate it. I am struggling with it. I am trrying my best to hold it together but it is hard. I have to cook food for my kids and DH and it is so hard to not taste. Especially when they are telling you that it is so good. I have two weeks of purred foods starting Monday and that is just aas worst once you think about it. The only thing that I am going to like is mashed potatoes. I so not like baby food and can not eat it. I am just ranting about how I fell. Sorry ... but I am happy to have made the decision to get my band... UNTIL LATER

It is now the fourth day after surgery and I am doing fine. No major pains. The bottom half of my stomach sounds like thunder while the top half is full. It is crazy!  I have to use the bathroom a lot but once I get there... nothing. The only bad thing about it is trying to find something to eat but I would not change it for nothing. I am not getting in all my liquids or proteins in right now but it is a growing process. When I take my meds it knocks me out for about 3 hrs so, that gets me behind. Just wanted to let you all know what is going on. Feeling fine and loving my band! Until Next time.

Happy Anniversay to me! I had my surgery yesterday and I am doing fine. I thought I would be feeling awful but The only thing that is going on is little soreness. i was in surgery about 45 min and recovery about 2hrs. Iwas so scared yesterday and freaked out once I woke up. I could not remember where I was. lol   Thanks to all my friends for all the well wishes and I wish you guys success. I will be going home sometime today. I will keep you posted. Getting some rest now. Until Later

This is the day before surgery. It is really sinking in this morning. I am scared and excited at the same time. I am sad and happy today also. I guess just think about... what is it going to be like after surgery has gotten me. What if I don't wake up? I think this is something that everyone thinks about. My mom has come in from SC to be with me and my DH has taken some time off from work to be with me as well. I am thankful to have them both with me on this day. They are trying to keep me busy to keep my mind off of this. I am in good spirits but just nervous! I know all will go well.  I do thank all my friends that I have made on OH and all the support you have given me! Just keep me in your prayers and wish me luck!

Today I went to have my pre op done. Everything went well and I am set for Surgery on Monday. I hade to do some blood work, talk with a health heducator, and swab my nose to see if I had a staff infection before surgery. I have to be at the hospital at 5:45 am and my surgery is scedule for 7:20. When the educator was talking to me... I think the surgery really hit home. I AM REALLY HAVING THIS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!! WWWWWWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! Wish me luck guys...I need the encouragement

10 days to go until my surgery...WOW! I am so excited. This atkins diet has gotten better by the day. I am doing good so far. The first two days I thought I was not going to make it for two weeks. I am now too the point where I can cook for my family and not eat anything. I am doing GREAT! Monday I go for my pre op work. Hope all goes well.

I woke up early thiis morning excited about how close it is until the day of my surgery. I have two more weeks to go!  Yesterday was my DH birthday and my last real supper... so I cooked: so fried chicken, macaroni and ceese, pig feet, cabbage, banana pudding and cake. We had a ball! so today I start my low carb diet and  I am ready... I think. I have my preop on the 22nd. I will stay posted between that time. Wish me luck!

  I was sitting here thinking about when I first got my date and I was saying boy that is a long time to wait. Time has flew by! Now it is about 26 days before my surgery and I am saying where has the time gone. I start my Adkins diet on the June 15... the day after my husbands birthday and go into surgery the date before my second wedding anniversary. Boy how things work out. I just had a moment and decided to write as I was sitting here thinking about how time was coming near. Until next time...

 I got my call today and I have a date. I will be having my surgery on June 29.I am so excited!  I will start my Akins diet on June 15  and I go for pre-op on June 22. Now I am just waiting for the day. Soon I will be on the loosing bench!

 I am still waiting for a date for my surgery. I called the dr. office and they said they are waiting for a letter from the insurance company stating I was approved. I got my letter last week and i still did not here anything yet. I am very ready to get this done and let my weight lose begin. Hope to hear something soon!
