Hello everyone!! It is now November 9, 2010........
Here I am again coming back to the site after not being on in forever!! And here it is 7 months since I have been sick! Well I have great news I am feeling better !! I actually got to get a referral to see my original WLS doctor in Erie pa which is about 2hours away from me. Dr. Arreola is a god sent I tell you !! I have been sick 7months down down to skin and bones litterly well over 50 lbs I have lost. Because I did nothing but vomit my food back up! The doctors here in lovely northeast Ohio did nothing for me but give me new medicines. Like I said I finally got my doctor here to get me a referral to go to Erie and see Dr.Arreola that was 3 weeks ago. He put me on chantex to help with smoking and boy does that stuff work I smoke maybe one cig a day now and I really do not even have to have it, With out having food I need it though. After my first appoint with him he sceduled a endoscopy I had that done on friday. I woke up in so much pain and gas...lol He had said that my ulsers are in my stomach and it is so rare that he has never seen them there before. That I should continue on my meds and he wants me back in 3 weeks for another endoscopy and if nothing has changed he is going to biospy them. Ok I am fine with that..next he said the opening to my stomach and the exit to my stomach leading to my intestines were alomst closed . There was no way anything was getting through these openings and closings!!! So he streched them and said I should feel a dramatic change!!....after I go over the pain and the gas pain from the procedure!.....Needless to say I started feeling like a whole ne person just hpours after leaving the hospital!!...I had a bowel movenemt well actually a few! in which I was lucky to go every two weeks prior to this! I started eating with out vomiting and no nausa!!!! I feel soooo good it is so nice to finally eat! I am getting energy back and color in my skin! I was litterly starving...for months now. Prior to me getting sick my normal weight was about 170 actaully I was 177when I started to get sick and this was my normal weight I had lost 100 pounds from my WLS. I was very happy with my 170lbs..a women needs curves you know!!... on friday I was 123... I do not think I weighed that is the 5th grade my 1 year old sone weighs 140...He is a big boy at 5'2 big boned! I look sick and justt unhealthy...I am happy to say I stepped on the scale this AM and weighed in at 130....woohooooo!! is all I can say I never thought in my life I would be trying to gain weight!!...But I am.... SOOOOOOO! I feel great!!! I go back in a few weeks to see what is going on with the uslsers...and than we go from there ! But hey I am happy for right now!
Although I am trying to eat and put on a few pounds my Fiance insists I need to weigh about 150 to look healthy... There is that scare in the back of my head..of gaining to much weight back I sit here and look at the pictures of me when I was about 170 , 165 when I would diet and think damn what a chunk I was????... I know its all in our heads and a constant battle we have to deal with...Its a complex right?...lol
I dunno I am going to just work on my health right now...Because this past 7 months has been hell I litterly thought I was going to die...It was very scary and depressing....
I am getting back to my old self I hope!!!!.........
