What a difference a year makes

After seeing my pics from a year ago, I have become more motivated than ever before. I am very grateful for this surgery and also to God for allowing me to have the surgery.
Approaching the 6 Weeks Mark...

So week 6 is approaching, I have lost about 30 lbs, dropped from a 20 to a 14/16
. That’s crazy! But for some strange reason I cannot get beyond that 227lb mark. I’m decreasing by inches I’m but not my weigh
t. I’m guessing it’s because I have not been hitting the gym
… So that means Mr. Gym and I will become best friends again
...now that my energy is coming back. My goal is to be 218 by my birthday
( The last time I weighed this was in high school) … Is it possible?
We will see… I have 3 weeks to lose 8lbs by October 5th. I am not consuming a lot of food, maybe that’s the issue too… Egg substitute in the AM ¼ cup, snack decaf coffee with a scoop of protein powder, and for lunch a piece of tilapia with ¼ or less of squash and for dinner tilapia with squash; with crystal light and water throughout the day. Ok guys I’ll check back in later… I’m focused once again!

4 Weeks as of this Friday!

Well I'm happy I did the surgery. It forces me to eat right. My only issues are not eating the required 5-6 meals and also not working out enough. I get tired really easily. I guess that's from not following up with the required vitamins I should be taking. Maybe this is why I am not losing enough weight. I am down 26.2 in 3 weeks going on the 4th. I am going to starting working out this week. We will see how it goes!.

Well, my insurance approved my surgery!!! My date is set for August 6th... I don't know whether to be happy or scared! Either way i'm nervous!
