"My first impression of Dr. McDaniel: "He's so young". He is approachable and willing to answer your questions in terms patients can understand. His staff is compentent in their areas of responsibility. The office is comfortably equiped for large size patients. His surgical competence and bedside manner is great. He emphasied using my primary care physician for other health issues not related to the weight loss surgery which I found to be of great value since he cannot be an expert at all things and acknowdleges his patients needs to include their primary care providers in his circle of care. I would recommend that he advise his patients to seek after surgery nutritional counseling sometime after the six week aftercare visit with him. It definitely was of great benefit to me to have the one on one visit with a nutrition in addition to the one size fit all pre surgery nutritional session. I would and have told others to use his care. "
