Hello my name is Tina and I am having the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass on May 8^th.  I am so looking forward to it.  I am currently 280 lbs and 5’3”.  I have my pre-opt appointment on April 15^th and will begin the liquid diet on April 24^th.  (I hope I can accomplish this)

I am having this surgery for several reasons.  First because everything is starting to break down and the acks and pains are setting in. Second, I am tried of being a loner; I used to be incredibly active and outgoing.  Now all I do is sit home weekend after weekend and do nothing.   Eating and watching TV doesn’t count. LOL
