Wow where to begin...
Im 44 years old Im 5'5" tall my BMI is 42...I want to lose 101 lbs...
On January 5th 2007 I attended a WL seminar. I wasnt really thrilled with the information that I received from them so I got on-line and found another Bariatric center to work with...I LOVE them...I attended their Seminar on the 7th of February. At that time I also met with the Psychologist, the Nutritionalist and the Bariatric Co-Ordinator...You see I live 4 hours away from my Bariatric Center...I know to some of you this seems extreme but I want to be in the best hands possible. They have a wonderful support team and are very strict...I NEED that...I work better under strict. Anyway, I then met with the surgeon, under this program you jump through the hoops and then the Surgeon decides if he wants to do the surgery based on all the info. Well needless to say he took me on...We turned it into insurance-BCBS PPO- on Friday and monday I got an Approval, it really went that quick...My pre-op is scheduled for April 3rd and I have a meeting with the Co-Ordinator on the 4th. I have started my pre-op diet...less then 1200 calories per day...Its not so bad. I know there is an end...And a new beginning...
I have a wonderfull supportive family...Truely wonderful, even my 16 year old daughter is wonderful...Of course she has her moments...
