I started my journey with an appointment with Chris and Dr. Kothari in Jan, 08. It is now the end of Mar, 08 and I have finished my psych eval, and two of three nutrition meetings. And Emily said they are submitting my info to insurance at beginning of Mar 08. So now I'm just waiting to hear back. 3/28/08 
A couple of years later.........After appealing the insurance decision before the board, they finally approved my surgery. Then the day before surgery, it gets cancelled because my blood work came back anemic. After numerous other tests and blood work, my new surgery date is set for 7-27-10. I can't wait. It's been a lllloooonnnnggg road from Jan of 08 to today, too long. Hopefully all my blood work is going to come back ok and we'll proceed. I don't know if I can handle another letdown.
