ok, here we go, i am not very good at things like this, my name is thom i am 47 yrs old, i havee been over weight most of my life, i was one of those "husky" kids growing up, well i never outgrew being husky. back in 1887 i was hit by a car and spent 6 months in a wheelchair, i gained so much weight during that time. i started looking into wls about 2 yrs ago, i started out at barixs in langhorn pa. what a mess that was. i saw 4 doctors before i was given a date, they scheduled me for july 30th 2007, well i went for all my pre-admit testing 3 weeks before, things seemed ok, the friday before my surgery i was call and told to be there at 6am on monday, so i was there at 6 had to wait till 8 till they took me back to the pre-op area, they had me get into a gown, started the iv gave me all kind of meds, a nurse came in and told me it would be about 10 mins they were getting the room ready, well the next thing i knew dr. boe came in and told me that they were not going to do the surgery due to the fact that one of the tests that they did 3 weeks before did not turn out so good. i was so pissed off, they knew this for 3 weeks and waited till i was 10 min away for the surgery. so they took out the iv and sent me on my way. well i was not going to give up, one day i was listening to a local radio station when a commercial came on for the weight loss center at einstein elkins park. so i went home and checked them out on the internet. after alot of research on the hospital and the great doctor ( ramsey dellal). my first meeting with them was 11-08-07 had my surgery on 2-14-08
