Off all of my pre surgery meds...........

Great news, I no longer need any of the meds I took prior to surgery on July 27th. My Endo just took me off my last BP medication. My HbA1c was 5.9 almost normal. I have never had a number below 6.8 since I started to have it tested....

Down to size 40 pants

had to get smaller pants again. Down to 272 lbs. and size 40 pants. I had to remove 6 inches from my belt.
Purchased smaller size clothes

I had to get some new clothes this week. Most of my pants and shirts were too large for me to use anymore. I just buying enough to get myself buy for a little while.

Pouch slapped

Yesterday, I ate a little too fast and my pouch slapped me down and told me who was boss. I felt like it was going to come back up, but it stayed down. I didn't feel good for a few hours after. The next day I felt back to normal. I'm feeling stronger every day.

Just broke 300 lbs. I'm off most of my meds and Insulin Pump

This morning I weighed in at 298 lbs. Today I was removed from most of my meds and Insulin pump. Six down and Two to go......
Blenderized food

Just started blenderized food. So far so good. I was getting tired of eating the same thing everyday.

One week follow up appointment

I had my first follow up appointment with Dr. Zare today. Everything went well and I'm well ahead of my recovery schedule. I'm off all pain medicine except for Tylenol. I'm walking about 1-1/2 miles a day and will be going back to work on Monday. Weight at appointment was 302 lbs.

I had a 7:30 am surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. The surgry went very well and I was walking a few hours after ariving in my room.
