Hello everyone. 

I successfully had the VSG on Tuesday. Overall everything has been going smoothly. I have been fighting nausea since the recovery room.   I have been enjoying fresh broth a friend made for me.   I am finding it a challenge to get the required minimum of water.  Do any of you have recommendations for how to get in the liquids? I have found myself taking too big of sips on occasion. That sure is painful. It's like learning how to drink all over again. 

I took a "Before" picture and will post it soon. So far, I've lost 19 pounds since the liquid diet and the day of surgery. Not bad. I'll be certain to keep up my blog.

Hello everyone!  My name is Todd, am 42 years old and I live in Atlanta, GA.  I started my VSG weight loss journey back in July 2015.  I am now on the pre op/liquid diet and will have my VSG on December 8th.  My highest weight was 363.0lbs.  I am thankful for this website...so much information and inspiration.  I will track my progress here and hope you will join me as I continue to reach for my goals.  Words of support, encouragement and advice are appreciated.
