I'm Home everyone! I've been home since the 3rd. Everything went well with the surgery. Didn't have any problems. But of course I'm really sore. I'm getting around much better today. Today is a good day, that's why I'm on the computer =) I have my dietitian appointment tomorrow then Wed is my first Doctors appointment. Tummy likes to talk to me now..hehe. I'm getting a lil worried I haven't had a bowel movement to 2 days. Not to sure wut I'm to do or if that's normal. My hubby is going to be going back to work. I'm extremely worried about that. I have a 1 1/2 yr old. and I can't lift him at all right now=( My mother said she can be with me during the day until my older kids get home to help sooo that's really nice.
I'm getting down 3oz of protein down. I'm trying really hard to get my calories and water in. I'm up to 3-4oz of water right now. I DID get down 8oz of water today but I'm not to sure if that was smart of me to do...blahhh. I'm only averageing 450 calories a day. That's horrible=( I get very drained really fast. I know it'll get better. Just wish things would hurry up;) Takes time I know.....All in All I'm doing good.

Well today I'm getting all my last minute things done that needs to get done for my family. last minute cleaning, dishes done, floors vaccumed. dusting, laundry...house stuff. almost done with that.
Packed my bag, I think I got everything I need. I hope=) Been going to the bathroom like crazy...of course
also been tring to drink a lot of water. =) I have to be at the Hospital by 8-8:30am. Surgery is at 10:30am. Extremely FULL of Emotions...Everything you can think of I'm thinking...I keep telling myself God will be with me tomorrow. That helps me ezz my mind=) Well my friends. I'll try to keep all of you up dated when I can. Please Pray for me, I know I don't have to ask but you know....=) Talk to you all soon....

can't believe it...1 week from today I'll be in the hospital recovering from my surgery. 
Went & seen my primary care doctor today. Down another 6 lbs since I started my liquid diet. Can't complain. =)Everything is good. See the Dietatain tomorrow. Then I'm completely done with appointments for the surgery...FINALLY!!! Sooo much info thrown at you all at once. My emotions have been good. I'm getting more excited other than scared. I guess I go back & forth ...Day by day=)
I was the DD for my brother & sister-in-law Saterday night. It wasn't that bad NOT to drink. I thought it maybe. but I was good. Now...the coming home after the bar & wanting to snack on all the goodies my brother bought was a different story. I was good tho, didn't touch anything. Mannn DID I want to=) Will Power!!! I WON

Started Liquid Diet

Started my liquid diet tuesday. Didn't do to well the first couple days. Went yesterday and got sugar free jello, pudding, (less sodium)broths & creams soups. I'm doing much better today. My problems were...I was getting all of my protein but wasn't getting my calories. NEVER thought I would ever say that;) Anyways...like i said, i'm doing much better today. Still very emotional. Still going through the WUT IF'S. I need to stop doing that. =)
All my testing is Done. Upper GI, EKG, & the blood work is done. Had my final meeting with my Bariatric Doctor to ask final questions & to sign the consent forms Yesterday. 2 more appointments left before surgery. Final app with my primary doctor & one more visit with the dietitain.
Ohhh...I didn't know I had to give myself shots for 10days after surgery. Holy Moly...scared about that. (stop the blood clots)after surgery. Yeeekkk!!!! All in all...lets get this sh*t over with!!! LOL

Ok....Can we drink V8 while on the liquid diet? Should I be taken the vitamins while on the Liquid Diet? Is it ok to have the Liquid B12 after the surgery? Just tring to get every down..forgot to ask the Dietitain the questions. I can always call...Getting Nervous. I start Liquid Diet Monday...~Happy Dance~

Back from Vacation...Maui;)

Vacation was Wonderful. I was there visiting family. Got to see a lot of Beautiful things=) Loved it in Maui. Got stuck there for a couple more days,do to the Chicago/Michigan weather we had last week=) I'm Back home safe & sound tho. Missed my kids & hubby very much.
Soooo, here goes a couple of busy weeks... getting all my appointments done before my surgery. Go in on the 14th for my upper gi testing ect. The 15th I start my Liquid diet=( The 16th I go to a group class & then meet up with the doctor to sign all the concent forms, 22nd Follow up appointment with my primary doctor And on the 23rd I meet up with my Dietitain for the last app before my surgery. Talk about NERVOUS! I'm Hopeing that I'm going to eat... WELL (drink) all the right things for the liquid diet. *Question*...Can you drink V8 while on the liquid diet? Didn't ask the Dietitain that. Think goodness it's all on paper. I think I got it all down though. I'm ready to start. Once I'm on it, i'm prob going to say ~can't wait for it to be over~ lol
I need to decide wut Protein Supplements I want & my chewables. Gonna buy it soon & stock up. Getting prepared.=)

Got my date yesterday, set for March 1st @ 7:30am. I'm extremely excited...but it all really hit me today. Was talking to my husband and started to cry. Have so much running through my mind. I haven't told a lot of ppl, just my closest family and friends. I know that Im making the right decision for myself. BUT you have them ppl that like to judge you and say that I copped out or that I didn't try hard enough to lose the weight. Which...I know better cuz I've been dealing with my weight for over 15yrs. So the hell with them, it's still hard! I know I shouldn't let it get to me but.....Of course I'm not going to change my mind cuz I AM making the right decision for myself...Is this normal to feel this way???

I got a call around noon yesterday. Patti called and said that she already got a call back from the Insurance. Everything went through and I got APPROVED for the Gastric Bypass. I'm so Stocked! Everything's going to quickly now. Someone's calling me Thursday or Friday for scheduling. I'm going to my Nutrition Class on January 13th, Hawaii Jan 24th, get back Feb 2. Then start my Liquid Diet. This is REALLY happening!!! I'm happy and Nervous BUT Ready!!!!!!

Results are in for my sleep apena. I got cleared. Happy about that. Patti was going to fax everything to the Insurance company. For now... I'm going to continue to do wut I was told and go on Vacation January 24th with my mom. Going to Hawaii to visit my Uncle and Grandma. Hopefully I'll get news when I get back
