Terri sounded much better today, she is still on track to come home tomorrow. She knows the worst is behind her and the best is yet to come!!!

Talked to Terri again tonight, she sounded better today but tired. She was trying to rest as much as possible and is currently planning on coming home on Saturday.

Talked to Terri again today, she sounded better than yesterday!!!! She got the ng tube out today so hopefully that will make a big difference. I think she also mentioned that she had a drain taken out so was hoping to get a better night sleep tonight. She is having to share a room, and since hospitals aren't the most restful place even with a private room, I'm sure that's adding to the lack of sleep! Sounds like the worst is behind her and better days are just around the corner!

Talked to Terri on the phone this afternoon. Today has not been such a good day for her, but she was expecting today to be difficult based on other's comments. I'll touch base with her again tomorrow and keep you posted.

Went to visit Terri in the hospital tonight, but didn't end up seeing her. Surgery lasted from 12:10 to 4:00 with no complications, just a little longer than anticipated. She was still in recovery when I was there, but her mom and husband both said she did just fine according to the doctor. I'll be going back tomorrow night to visit with her and will keep you posted.

Terri, Hey, thanks for posting on my surgery page- I am glad to know somebody who is having surgery the same days as me. I am getting pretty nervous. When you start to get scared, just think about how different your life will be this time next year when you are doing your Christmas shopping! I hope we keep in touch. I will be thinking about you this week. Julie
