I'm new to this site -- have made decision to persue surgery. Want laparocopy though. Glad to see that you're doing well. Good luck to you. Would you be willing to describe the laparoscopy? Is this the less invasive procedure requiring less recovery time than the norm? That's what I'm looking for info on. It appears that I'll have to go out of state to take advantage of lapascopy. Any information you're willing to share would be appreciated. Again, I wish you all the best. Regards, Kathy

Hi everyone, I' home 3 days now and doing great! Surgery was last Friday. I must say that the first couple of days were rough. But I got exponentially better each and every day. I had a lot of vomiting and couldn't keep any liquids down in the hospital so I had to stay an extra day. Now that I'm home I feel fine except that my energy level is low. Thanks to Renee Sellers for keeping up with me and phoning me in the hospital!!xxxxx And thanks to all the well wishers who posted to my surgery page. This is a fabulous and supportive group of people on this site!

I talked to Tracie yesterday. She is doing GREAT ! At the time we were talking, the nurse was removing her IV. At that time she thought she may get to go home today. I have not heard anything this morning, but soon as I do I will post the info.

Just heard from Tracie's mother. Tracie had her surgery at 7:30 this morning, came thru it fine and is currently resting comfortably. Will post again as soon as more info. is received. YEAH TRACIE!
